Tour itinerary: 8 nights/9days .
Kathmandu: 3 nights.
Pokhara: 2 nights.

Day 01: Upon arrival at the Kathmandu Tribhuwan international airport, Nepal.
               I will be on standby air-condition vehicle and displaying your named template at the airport on that day to pick you up and transfer to your hotel then within one hour later, will go to orientation walk to get familiar with your surrounding or sightseeing in Kathamndu valley if possible otherwise, will be rest in your hotel.

Day 02: Full day cultural and historical sightseeing in Kathmandu valley by a.c. vehicle.
               Boudanath stupa (one of the biggest Buddhist temple in Nepal), One of the holy place of Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath stupa ( monkey temple ), and Hanuman dhoka durbar square (Kathmandu durbar square). Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (6 to 7 hrs.).
A: Rafting in Trishuli River:
               After breakfast, we will drive to Pokhara. On the zigzag way of mountain areas, we will pass through beautiful landscape, paddy farm, river, tiny villages, mountain views etc. On the way to Pokhara about 3 hours drive, we will be taken to the raft put-in point at Fishling. Abiding by the guidelines provided by a river guide. You will start to fight your ways along the rapids of the Trishuli River down to Mugling ( a small tiny town) where lunch will be provided before we stop for a lunch break. After an exhausting battle, you will be driven back to Pokhara where you can enjoy a well deserved rest. Rafting on the Trishuli River is an excellent opportunity to observed the diversity of demography, Landscapes, Cultural Heritages and Flora & Fauna. You can experience the thrills of white water rafting. About 4 hours drive, will be reached to Pokhara then Overnight at hotel.
B: Pokhara: Check in the Hotel.
               Pokhara is blessed with stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. The mesmerizing Machhapuchhre also called mt. Fishtail dominates the scenery because of its proximity to the valley and can be seen ffrom anywhere in Pokhara. Stretching from east to west, the Annapurna massif includes Annapurna I to IV and Annapurna south. Further away are seen the giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m.), and Manaslu (8163m.).

Day 04: Sunrise view from Sarangkot and sightseeing in Pokhara.
               Early in the morning, we will drive to Sarangkot to see sunrise view on the different Himalayan Peaks such as Fishtail (6997m.), Dhaulagiri (8167m,), Hiun Chuli (6434m.), rounded peak of Annapurna II (7937m.) etc. Then after breakfast, we will start our sightseeing in Pokhara such as Gupteswar Gupha (cave), Devi`s Fall, Mahendra Gupha and boating on Phewa lake to go to Taal Barahi Temple.
A) Gupteshwor Mahadev:
               This cave is probably the longest and attractive cave in South Asia which is located at the pristine location of Northwestern part of Pokhara, a world famous tourist destinarion in Gandaki Zone and Kaski district. Ancestors called this place as desolate Khatri Tara. At that time water steam used to come out from this place and some courageous youngsters used to go inside and catch fishes. In 1970, 1980, & 1982 a British Expedition Organization named British course Research Cave Expedition expatiated this cave and published about it in The Atlas Great cave of the World. The cave was formally established in 1994-01-01 which is a religious and touristic destination.
B) Devi`s Fall:
               It is one of the popular tourist destinations of Nepal, is known as patale Chango in Nepali. It is located near by Gupteshwor Cave. The waterfall gets its water from the phewa Lake. The Davi`s Falls is a unique waterfall around 2 kms. from the center of Pokhara City. This falls flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no ends. Legend has it that a trekker (Devin David…..) was washed away by the Pardi Khola (river) and mesteriously disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.
C) Mahendra Gufa (Cave ):
               Another nature`s wonders is Mahendra Gufa, is located north of Pokhara, the area is known as Batulechaur. It is one of the most popular visiting spot in Pokhara, Nepal. This large limestone cave is locally known as the house of bats. It is best to bring your own torch in order to see the stalactites and stalagmites, as well as the local winged residents. Most of the tourist go to visit there. It is completely different than other Gufa.
D) Boating in Phewa Lake:
               Boat trip in the lovely Phewa Lake is the foremost attraction of Pokhara. Paddling out into the middle of the lake is a nice way to spend a guite afternoon. It is the largest lake in Pokhara valley and the second largest lake in Nepal. Encircled by Sarangkot and Kaskikot hills, the lake holds a pagoda style temple. Another attraction is the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and Annapurna range on the crystal clear water of the lake. While boating in Phewa Lake, you can see several verities of fish. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Pokhara to Lumbini.
A)After breakfast, drive towards Lumbini about 5 hrs.
               We leave Pokhara for Lumbini driving along a very scenic highway via Tansen, a hill station overlooking the plains of Terai. This drive passes through green hills, dense forests, river valley and beautiful Annapurna countryside and finally reaches the tropical plains of Terai in Lumbini. Lumbini is the birth place of the Buddha, founder of Buddhism.
B) Arrival in Lumbini.
               Lumbini is the most important site for the followers of Lord Buddha and those interested in Buddhism. Lumbini is now being developed as a major place of pilgrimage with the assistance of United Nations. The Lord Buddha was born in Lumbini around 623 BC. Lumbini is one of four major Buddhist pilgrimage site related to Buddha`s life, the others being at Kushinagar, Boud-Gaya, and Sarnath.
C)Sightseeing in Lumbini.
After arriving in Lumbini, we will have lunch then g               o to sightseeing in holy site of Buddha such as

  •                This zone is situated in the center with the forest area, north of the sacred garden complex, divided by canal. There are 13 monasteries in east and 29 in west Monastic enclaves, having 42 plots each allotted for new monasteries of Theravada and Mahayana sects of Buddhism respectively.We can visit some of the monasteries and holy site of Buddha.
  • . Dharmaswami Maharaja Buddha Vihar:

  •                This Tibetan Gompa ( monastery ) belonging to the Sakyapa order, is also outside the complex. His Eminence Chogya Trichen Rinpoche and the Raja of Mustang established it. Every morning around sixty monks who reside here conduct the Tara puja. At the end of September, two thousand monks congregate for 10-days Puja and on 13th December each year for the Mahakala puja which also lasts for 10-days.
  • . International Monasteries:

  •                A complex of monasteries is constructed on a grand scale. Monasteries in the respective national styles of Myanmar (Burma), China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand etc. are among those that are built. Also in the vicinity are the Lumbini Research Institute, which has an impressive collection of Buddhist literature, and a Museum. Both are open from Sunday to Saturday at 10:00 am to 5:00 pm ( 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in winter). After we finish the sightseeing of Lumbini then we will have lunch. After that we drive towards Chitwan at 12:00 am.

  • A)Arrival in Chitwan National Park:
                   After lunch, we will begin the journey to Chitwan National Park. On the zigzag way of mountain areas, we will pass through beautiful landscape, paddy farm, river, tiny villages, mountain views etc. we will have to drive about 5 hours. Chitwan National Park stands today as a successful testimony of nature conservation in South Asia. This is the first national park of Nepal, established in 1973 to preserve a unique ecosystem significantly valuable to the whole world. The park covering a pristine area of 932 sq.km. is situated in the subtropical inner Terai lowlands of southern central park of Nepal. The park has gained much wider recognition in the world when UNESCO included this area on the list of World Heritage Site in 1984. A total of 903 species of mammals, 915 species of birds, 184 species of herpetofauna and 171 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of one horned rhinoceros, royal Bengal tiger and gharial crocodile.
                   On the other hand, Chitwan is also known as” heart of jungle” mainly because the city main attraction is the national park itself. If you want to see birds and animals in Nepal, this is where you would need to come. For animal lovers, it offers them an opportunity of a life time to see Royal Bengal tigers, one-horned rhinos, various species of birds and butterflies.

  • Bhaktapur durbar square:
                   Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon means city of devotees. It is a very unique old town of Nepal compare to Kathmandu and Patan. Historically, the city was built in the 9th century (889 AD) during the reign of King Ananda Dev Malla. However, it might be older than that. The city was originally built in the shape of a sacred conch shell which is associated with lord Vishnu, the protecter god in Hinduism. This city divided into 24 traditional locality covers an area of 7 square kilometers and lying at 15 km. east of Kathmandu. Before the unification of Nepal, Bhaktapur was an independent principality ruled by the Malla King, who were very much devoted to religion, culture, and art. During that period many magnificent temples and mansions were built. This period is remembered as golden period in the Nepalese art and remains a unique example. There are also many monuments including pagodas, palaces, shikhara style monuments, courtyards and Buddists shrines and monasteries. The present structures were erected from the 12th to 18th century AD. The important things to be seen in this area include the lion gate, golden gate, stone column, 55 windows palace, vastala temple, nyatapol, Bhairavnath temple, Dattatraya temple, pottery square etc.
